Tropical green smoothie
Refreshing, nutrious and packed with green goodness.
- 2 tbsp (50g) frozen fruit mixture (e.g. mango and kiwi, the variety is up to you. Some stores even sell frozen mixed fruit with bits of vegetables!)
- 150ml water
- 1 heaped tbsp (25g) low fat yogurt
- 2 tbsp (15g) porridge oats
- ½ small avocado, peeled and stoned*
- ½ lime, juice and zest, to taste**
- 1 sachet Meritene MOBILIS vanilla drink
- Topping: fresh mint leaves and blueberries
* Instead of avocado, use ½ a banana
** Taste the mixture before you add lime juice; if the fruit is sharp or sour, you may not need it
Forma de Preparación
- Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until you have smooth, thick drink.
- Add a little more water if it seems too thick. Pour into a glass.
- Add the mint and blueberries to the top if you like. Best enjoyed straight away.
